The JPS Psychiatric Emergency Center represents a critical step forward in delivering accessible, high-quality behavioral health care at scale. Built to serve more than two million Tarrant County residents, this 24/7 facility expands urgent access to care while setting a new standard for safety, efficiency, and patient-centered design.
Purpose-built environments, including separate treatment areas for adults and adolescents, private rooms, and calming spaces, create a setting where patients can stabilize, recover, and receive immediate support. At the same time, the facility streamlines care delivery, helping providers respond faster and more effectively to rising mental health needs.
This project demonstrates Vaughn's ability to deliver complex healthcare facilities that require precision, coordination, and a deep understanding of operational outcomes.
