Austin Community College Completes Two Renovation Projects at the Highland Campus

Vaughn served as construction manager-at-risk for two new projects at the Austin Community College District (ACC) Highland Campus. The 10,000 SF Make It Center provides information to allow students to make educated decisions on career paths, taking into consideration the cost of living of their desired future residence, any degree requirements, along with the associated education costs. The 12,300 SF Welcome Center serves as a place for students and community members to explore the college’s programs and areas of study, ask questions and get answers directly from ACC staff, and learn about the college’s free support services and benefits.

Both Centers serve ACC’s goal of being a destination campus in the Austin area. The College is a national model for innovative learning, sustainability, and training facilities. ACC Highland stands at the center of Austin as a hub for the future of higher education and career training in Central Texas.
