Children's Health System New Patient Tower

The Children’s Health System of Texas is expanding its Medical Center Plano campus (near Dallas) and chose Vaughn for its $255 million 383,000 SF, 10-story new patient tower project. The project also includes renovations, expansion, and campus enhancements, including an 1,890 SF connector bridge, 245,000 SF garage, and 65,000 SF of renovation in the existing hospital. The expansion will ensure Children’s Health Medical Center Plano is prepared to meet the needs of the pediatric population in the far north suburbs of Dallas. Enabling work began in late 2020; construction starts September 2021; and substantial completion is expected in early 2025. The project architect is HKS.
