University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth Opens Research and Education Building

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth recently celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting for the Interdisciplinary Research and Education Building (IREB). The 171,000 SF facility features teaching labs, research labs, classrooms, study rooms, multimedia learning areas, faculty and administration offices, and several outdoor spaces to take advantage of the views of the historic museum district. The IREB will be home to the UNT System College of Pharmacy, the TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine, and North Texas Eye Research Institute. During the ceremony, University of North Texas Health Science Center President Dr. Michael Williams praised Vaughn Construction and TreanorHL for their teamwork and dedication to open the building on time and under budget.
