The Infrastructure, Dock Improvements, and Ship FF&E Phase 1 project is key to the immediate and longer-term master plan of growth and improvements on the campus and will help anchor a partially developed corner of the campus. This building will help the Texas A&M University Galveston campus provide special-purpose education in marine and maritime studies, research, and public service related to the general field of marine resources. As the campus prepares for the next 50 years, it plans to complete utility and infrastructure projects to properly support the educational and research mission of the institution.
