The Houston Methodist Medical Office Building (MOB) 3 is a six-story, 160,000 SF medical office building that houses various departments including orthopedics and sports medicine, physical therapy, primary care, and neuroscience services. A sports field with a basketball net, partial football field, and a field goal for physical therapy is next to the building. Two pedestrian bridges and 294,000 SF, six-story parking garage were also included in the project. The total area of the project is 14 acres and includes landscaping, site utilities, drives, and surface parking.
Due to our proximity to another project, the smell of the roofing material being applied made its way into operating rooms. We quickly adapted to the issue and began to work nights and weekends to reduce negative impacts to Houston Methodist's operations while keeping the project on schedule. We provided carbon filters for the hospital’s OAHUs to ensure the safety of Houston Methodist’s patients and staff.
