Our experience, depth of resources and approach to projects have allowed us to be successful regardless of the delivery method.
Owners desiring a single point of responsibility, or needing an accelerated delivery schedule, can utilize our design-build experience and well-established relationships with accomplished design professionals to meet those needs. We can also offer a comprehensive turn-key delivery system, using our special D/B+D/B program.
Having delivered construction management services both "At Risk" and as an "Owner's Agent," we are experienced utilizing this method of delivery for both our public and private clients. We perform both preconstruction and construction phase services, with over 95% of our CM services conducted on an "at risk" basis. During the CM process, Vaughn is involved with the Owner, architect and consultants from conceptual design through construction and until the facility is operational and occupied. Vaughn's diversified services offer clients complete control over: cost, schedule, constructability, quality, start-up and warranties.
We are active and competitive in the hard-bid market. We are proud of our ability to keep pace with the changing conditions in the marketplace. With the most current and accurate data and extensive knowledge of material and labor, our estimating team effectively predicts and controls project costs.
Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
One of our Core Values is Teamwork. By properly aligning the owner, design team and the construction team to provide collaborative design and construction, with incentives shared by team members when the project goals are achieved, IPD projects enable the team to fully integrate our approach, safety program, quality program and BIM program to achieve the project goals' success for all team members.
We routinely self-perform critical path activities to control the project schedule and save the Owner money. We provide guaranteed numbers up front allowing Owners to make critical early decisions.
Utilizing technology provides our builders, at evey step in the delivery process, the ability to see it, coordinate it, estimate it, plant it and then virtually build it—and that's all before we ever put a shovel in the ground. BIM technology enables us to navigate through spaces, identify clashes and determine available space for any new systems that are required. This process enables greater collaboration and saves time and money on your project.
Our in-house ability to create models allows us to better plan, coordinate and schedule your projects.
- Laser Scanning
If you are planning a building addition or remodel, laser scanning can help facilitate the process and eliminate the unknowns. By utilizing a mounted laser, 3D laser scanning enables us to acquire building spatial data in three dimensions with high fidelity and low processing time. The rapid collection of 3D information serves several purposes across business lines, including: historical documentation of existing conditions, facility condition documentation, construction as-built development and BIM construction development.
- Equipment and Operations Manuals (EOMs)
We can program the data from Equipment and Operations Manuals into the virtual model to provide detailed, accurate operational information right on the model itself.
- QC Integration (????)
What if your team didn't have to walk back and forth from the trailer to the site to access BIM construction models and scheduling information?
